Job Purpose:

The incumbent holding this role is accountable for all internal legal matters relating to the Group activities, including liaising with the external legal advisors of the Group, as well as ensuring compliance of Group activities to policies, procedures and local legal framework in cooperation with various departments.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

 Handles all legal related matters of the Group, including contract and commercial issues
 Reviews and drafts main terms and conditions of contracts
 Supports with the preparation of contracts, including subcontractor and joint venture agreements
 Supports with the collection, preparation and overview of tender documents and relevant information
 Ensures business unit compliance with applicable laws and regulations
 Provides consultation and advice in relation to labor/employment law queries and policies and procedures
impacted by local legislation
 Manages and takes appropriate action in relation to any disputes
 Consults with external legal advisors, where necessary to resolve probable disputes
 Reviews employment contracts in coordination with the HR department
 Conducts legal research in all areas of construction and land development industry (new legislation and
new directives)
 Drafts legal documents (in compliance to construction law and regulations) and prepares fact sheets
analysis of all legal cases
 Reviews and approves translations of legal documents, where necessary
 Liaises with the Business Control Manager in any Treasury related tasks, including communication with
banking institutions regarding corporate account documents and registrations
 Liaises with the Business Control Manager with the correspondence relating to any insurance matters of
the Group and reviewing existing insurance terms and conditions

Specific Requirements:

 Undergraduate degree in Law
 At least 3-5 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities
 Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
 Professional Qualification as a Barrister at Law or a Solicitor would be considered as an advantage
